URGENT: Federal Funding Freeze Threatens Housing for Sacramento’s Most Vulnerable

White House budget office ordered a temporary freeze on all federal funds, directly impacting our ability to serve the most vulnerable members of our community. For 30 years, Sacramento Cottage Housing Inc. has relied on HUD funding to provide stable housing and support services at Quinn Cottages and Serna Village. Without immediate action, hundreds of formerly homeless residents are at risk of losing the critical services they rely on to stay housed.

We are urgently seeking community support to ensure these programs continue. Here’s how you can help:
Donate today to keep our programs running during this crisis.
Advocate by contacting local and federal representatives to urge immediate funding fulfillment.
Share this message to raise awareness.

Together, we can protect our neighbors from returning to homelessness. Visit https://www.cottagehousing.org/donate/ to take action now.

VOLUNTEER

Cottage Housing, Inc.’s program participants need to do things for themselves, but they can’t do everything alone. You can help them create a brighter future. Involvement options begin by attending a community meeting at either site.
Please contact David Husid or Cynthia Hunt to schedule a visit.
